Ultrasonics Alone Speed Removal

This case demonstrates that a separated file can sometimes be retrieved using ultrasonics during root canal preparation, especially when the file is in the middle one third of the canal. The separated file length measurement with CBCT revealed it was 2 mm, which is typically easy to remove with ultrasonics. As you can see on the pre-op, the separated file is around a curve in the middle one third of the DB canal. While activating TFRK-6 ultrasonic tip to create a thin space on the inner wall, the separated file popped out. In this case, the separated file removal took only 30 seconds from preparation to instrument retrieval.
