TrueTooth™ Mandibular Molar Replica 18-001
Difficulty Factor: 5*
This mandibular molar has an un-calcified pulp chamber and large pulp horns. This is the ultimate challenge for treating curved canals. The mesial canals have an apical diameter of .23mm and are confluent. The ML canal has a severe S curve, while the MB canal is less curved coronally but is more abruptly curved apically as it joins the ML canal. The DB canal is larger and less curved, it has a subtle S curve with a distal kick near the terminus and an apical diameter of .22mm. The DL canal is the most challenging in this tooth, it is tiny with an apical diameter of .13mm, and severe curves through its full length.
